Super Platinum wines have only recently become available. We can now offer wines that are “vineyard specific”, for example our Talagante Chilean Merlot which comes from the Talagante vineyard in the famous Maipo region of Chile. These wines usually have large grape packs added (grape skins, stems and seeds) to enhance the character or they may have oak shavings, chips or cubes to enhance the complexity. Equivalent value is $15 to $30 per bottle. The price for a thirty-bottle batch is about $6.40 per bottle at The Village Winemaker.
